So Congress has decided to give themselves a raise this week. Don’t you wish you could give yourself a raise? Here is a link to the news release.

“Hi David, I am writing to you today to express my sincere disdain over Congress giving themselves a raise during these tough economic times. I find it absolutely deplorable that you would accept this raise given the state of our economy. There is an old adage “Pigs turn into hogs and hogs get slaughtered”. Well, you and the rest of Congress and the Senate have truly lived up to your swinish reputation. What you should do, is take NO paycheck until this economy rights itself. Remember you took this position for the love of your country and state. One must ask, how do you sleep at night?”
